To all Deskers and Gamers,

Long has the ergonomic content surrounding the home office been focused on desk setup/design and that’s it. Most resources have never tackled topics that play a crucial role in our health and overall performance while at our desk. This old school way of thinking needs to shift for the betterment of our performance and health. 

Today I’m unveiling my new approach to ergonomics, which I like to call Elemental Ergonomics. This approach covers five essential elements that contribute to our health and our performance while we work or game. With each of these topics, I’ll  cover background, solutions, discuss with experts in each field, and why a whole systems approach is important to you. 

Air- Ventilation and Lighting

Earth-  Desk Setup

Water- Hydration and Nutrition

Heart- Exercise and Breaks

Fire- Pain


These articles will be released over the course of the next few weeks, with a new topic unveiled weekly. My goal with this elemental concept is to bring awareness to all aspects of the home office in a digestible format. 

As our work settings and behaviors have changed dramatically this year, it’s more important than ever to be the most productive and healthy person you can be.
